Ruth Jones, star of Gavin & Stacey and Stella is supporting the campaign for Britain to remain in the European Union.
Speaking ahead of Alan Johnson's visit to Barry with Shadow Culture Secretary Maria Eagle tomorrow with the Labour IN for Britain battle bus, Ruth said:
"On June 23 we get to vote on what is probably the biggest political issue in a generation. Throughout my life, being part of Europe has brought fantastic benefits to the UK in terms of jobs, trade, culture and security. I'm voting to stay IN because I feel safer knowing I'm a Welsh British European.
"It comes down to our being optimistic, outward looking and confident of our place in the world.
"When I told Nessa the battle bus was coming to Barry she asked if Dave Coaches was driving and whether John Prescott would be on board. "Either way," she said "tell 'em to stop off at Marco's, he'll do 'em a crackin coffee no word of a lie."
