This form is for individuals who wish to express their interest in undertaking a future application to stand as a Welsh Labour candidate for upcoming Senedd elections.

It is not an application form to be selected as a Welsh Labour candidate.

Further information on the application process for the selection of future Welsh Labour candidates for the Senedd will be available in due course, in line with procedures established by the Welsh Executive Committee (WEC).

Individuals who express their interest via this form can request to be kept up-to-date on the application process for the selection of future Welsh Labour candidates for the Senedd, but an Expression of Interest is not a requirement to be eligible to compete in the upcoming application process when it occurs.

Further details on eligibility requirements to apply to be selected as a Welsh Labour candidate for upcoming Senedd elections will be available in full application guidance, to be made available in line with the Labour Party rules and agreed by the WEC, to be published at such time as applications open.

The twinning process for Senedd constituencies for future Senedd elections will be undertaken by the Boundary Commission for Wales, in accordance with statutory guidance laid by the Senedd. Please note that an indication of preference on this form does not guarantee an opportunity to apply to be selected as a Welsh Labour candidate in that region. As above, future Senedd constituencies are subject to approval. Each future constituency will seek applications in accordance with rules set by the Welsh Executive Committee (WEC).
