GOOOOOOOAAAAAAALS! in sustainable development | Hub Cymru Africa

In Wales we have a proud tradition of International Development, solidarity and peace. We have an active and diverse sector working on community links, health and fair trade; and this needs to be celebrated. But in 2020 Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement has shown us just how interconnected we are, and how far we have to go to end inequalities internationally in a way that doesn’t perpetrate colonial structures. The wellbeing of Wales depends on global wellbeing. Join Hub Cymru Africa to discuss our vision for a globally responsible Wales.
Yng Nghymru mae gennym draddodiad balch o Ddatblygu Rhyngwladol, undod a heddwch. Mae gennym sector weithgar ac amrywiol o bobl sy’n gweithio ar gysylltiadau cymunedol, iechyd a masnach deg; ac mae angen dathlu hyn. Ond yn 2020, mae COVID-19 a’r mudiad Black Lives Matter wedi dangos i ni pa mor rhyng-gysylltiedig ydym, a pha mor bell y mae’n rhaid i ni fynd i roi terfyn ar anghydraddoldebau rhyngwladol mewn ffordd nad yw’n cyflawni strwythurau coloniaid. Mae lles Cymru’n dibynnu ar les byd-eang. Ymunwch â Hub Cymru Africa i drafod ein gweledigaeth ar gyfer Cymru sy’n gyfrifol yn fyd-eang.

'Back the Bill' – a Right to Housing for All | Tai Pawb, Shelter Cymru and CIH Cymru
Wales is in the midst of a housing crisis.
Conference season 2020 comes at a critical point, not just for the Welsh housing sector but for equality and human rights – more especially in the light of COVID-19 where the importance of staying at home has been central to all public health messages. For too many people, ‘home’ is insecure, unaffordable or unfit for purpose.
Our panellists will make the case for fully incorporating the Right to Adequate Housing into Welsh Law which we believe is the ambitious step needed to end the housing crisis, providing accessible and sustainable housing options for everyone in Wales.
Hear from some of Wales‘ leading housing and homelessness organisations:
Alicja Zalesinska | Director | Tai Pawb
John Puzey | Director | Shelter Cymru
Matt Dicks | Director | CIH Cymru
Mae Cymru yng nghanol argyfwng tai.
Mae tymor cynadledda 2020 yn ein cyrraedd ar adeg dyngedfennol, nid yn unig i’r sector tai yng Nghymru, ond i gydraddoldeb a hawliau dynol – yn enwedig yn sgil COVID-19, sydd wedi golygu bod pwysigrwydd aros gartref yn ganolog i’r holl negeseuon iechyd cyhoeddus. I ormod o bobl, mae ‘cartref’ yn ansicr, yn anfforddiadwy, neu’n anaddas at y diben.
Bydd ein panelwyr yn dadlau o blaid ymgorffori’r Hawl i Dai Digonol yng nghyfraith Cymru, a chredwn mai dyma’r cam uchelgeisiol sydd ei angen i ddod â’r argyfwng tai i ben, a darparu opsiynau tai hygyrch a chynaliadwy i bawb yng Nghymru.
Cewch glywed gan rai o brif fudiadau tai a digartrefedd Cymru:
