In 18 months’ time, Welsh Labour will be in the final stages of the most crucial Senedd election campaign since the beginning of devolution.

With our Senedd entering a new era, where devolution is strengthened and expanded, we will have more Welsh Labour candidates than ever before. We are inviting you to nominate someone to stand.

They might be people you know well, who are champions of your community. They might be people you admire, who are experts in their field. Or they might be people you have met, whose skills would enrich our parliament, and our country.

Consider especially people who might not look like who you would expect to stand for a political party. We best represent Wales when we look like Wales, and that means we will need candidates standing for us from a range of communities and backgrounds.

You can use the form below to tell us about the people you think should stand to become a Welsh Labour candidate at the next Senedd election.

Completion of the above form will be used to keep your nominee up to date on Welsh Labour’s candidate selection process only. Completion of this form does not guarantee your nominee’s candidacy for Welsh Labour at the Senedd elections in 2026, or at any other election. Failure to complete this form does not preclude any individual from standing for Welsh Labour.

When you nominate an individual, we will let them know it was you who nominated them when we make contact with them. If we do not hear from them within the selection period, we will delete the name of the individual and your association to them.
